The purge has begun and the internet is reacting to it! Elon Musk is removing legacy blue check marks from celebrity profiles on Twitter. Not Selena Gomez, Kim Kardashian, or even the Pope is safe from this verified check mark removal. This is kind of an end of an era if you really think about it. We've always known that the Twitter account of our favorite celebrities was authentic because of that blue little check mark, I guess now we just have to hope it's really them or that they're subscribed to Twitter blue. Speaking of Twitter blue... never in a million years would I pay money for a verified badge. I don't get it... how do you feel about this? Let me know & remember its cool to be you - JR
