Ryan Reynolds responded to neighbor Martha Stewart's claims he was "not so funny in real" life via Twitter on Friday (November 1), revealing that he was in no place to disagree with her.

Stewart recently appeared as a special guest on Bilt Rewards' November "Rent Free" game show (per People), detailing updates she would make to the list of celebrities show respondents thought would be the most fun to hang out with, and was surprised when Reynolds made the list.

"He's probably on the list just ’cause he covers himself up in his movies and you don’t see his face — Ryan Reynolds, is he one of those? And you want to know something? He's not so funny in real life. No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious. He’s a good actor. He can act funny, but he isn't funny."

She proceeded to say that she would take the Deadpool & Wolverine star off the list entirely and replace him with George Clooney, and put Taylor Swift and her bestie Snoop Dogg at the top.

Stewart concluded her statement by joking that she might get in trouble for the comments she made about Reynolds because they are neighbors.

The silver screen king responded to the viral moment with humor, referring to the TV personality as "spry."

"I'd disagree with her. But I tried that once. The woman is unexpectedly spry. She really closed the gap after a mile or so."
