Martha Stewart recently admitted she doesn't think Ryan Reynolds is "funny in real life" and his longtime pal Hugh Jackman had something to say about it.
The Wolverine standout replied to Reynolds' comeback tweet on Saturday (November 2), surprisingly siding with Stewart.
During a recent appearance on Bilt Rewards' November "Rent Free" game show, the TV personality (who is also one of Reynolds' neighbors) shared that she didn't think the comedic Deadpool star was funny.
"He's probably on the list just ’cause he covers himself up in his movies and you don’t see his face — Ryan Reynolds, is he one of those? And you want to know something? He's not so funny in real life. No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious. He’s a good actor. He can act funny, but he isn't funny."
To which Reynolds replied:
"I'd disagree with her. But I tried that once. The woman is unexpectedly spry. She really closed the gap after a mile or so."
Jackman reacted to Stewart's judgement of Reynolds' humor with a different approach quipping: "Finally someone says it."
Jackman and Reynolds go way back and have filmed a few movies together in recent years including 2021's Free Guy and 2024's Deadpool & Wolverine.
