Teddi Mellencamp called things off with her "mystery man" less than a week after unveiling his identity.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum opened up about her former partner, Ricci Rea, during the Friday, July 11, episode of iHeartRadio’s Two T's In A Pod, joking that she wished the press had figured out who he was sooner.

"You guys, the press needs to get on it a little bit faster because by the time they figured out who my mystery man was, we were already done. I had to call things off. All of a sudden, I open up the freaking worldwide web. I’m like, 'The mystery man.' Oh, now you guys figured it out."

Mellencamp, who was diagnosed with stage four melanoma cancer earlier this year, revealed that she could see herself being with Rea long term, but the timing wasn't right.

"Right now, it started getting to the point where it’s starting to get a little bit more serious. I was like, 'I don’t have the capacity for this right now.' He’s a really nice guy, couldn’t be a nicer guy." The reality star explained that exhaustion from battling cancer consumes her free time, making it hard to sustain a relationship.

"I don’t feel my best. So, when I have downtime, I want to rest. It’s not even, like, about a need right now, and I think that’s the crazy thing about this."

Earlier this month, the mother-of-three, who shares children Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 5, with ex-husband Edwin Arroyave (per E!News), assured that Rea was "taking good care of her."
