Lola Young is assuring fans she's okay after fainting during a recent performance.

The "Messy" singer spoke out after collapsing on stage during her set at the All Things Go Music Festival at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York, on Saturday (September 27). According to E! News, videos shared on social media captured Young looking to the side of the stage in the middle of her song "Conceited" and mouthing that she was going to faint. She then fell backwards before crews rushed to her aid and carried her off stage.

While Young's friend and fellow musician Remi Wolf told the crowd that Young was "okay" after the "really f---ing scary" situation, Young herself shared an update in an Instagram Story reassuring fans she was "doing OK now" and thanking everyone for their support.

The following day, the English musician, 24, also took to Instagram to tell fans she was pulling out of the All Things Go Music Festival in Washington, D.C.

"I'm sorry to confirm that I won't be playing all things go in DC today," she said. "I love this job and I never take my commitments and audience for granted, so I'm sorry to those who will be disappointed by this. I hope you'll all give me another chance in the future. Thank you to all those who listen and care. To all the people that love to be mean online, pls give me a day off. ❤️ Lola."

People reports that prior to Young passing out, she told the crowd that she had "had a tricky couple of days," adding, "Sometimes life can really make you feel like you can't continue, but you know what, today I woke up and I made the decision to come here, and I wanted to be cool ... and sometimes life can throw you lemons, and you just gotta make lemonade."
