A new YouTube record has been set...the first video to hit 10 billion views is the 2016 music video for the "Baby Shark Dance". YUP. And now it'll be stuck in my head all day.
It's been the most viewed video for the last 15 months. The second most-viewed video is "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, which has 7.7 billion views.
It doesn't look like "Baby Shark" is going anywhere anytime soon. It now has its own cartoon series on Nickelodeon, merchandise like toys and party decorations, and live tours.
