Eminem Has Finally Killed Slim Shady?!

Eminem "The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)" is here!

Em dropped the single “Houdini.” last month, with the video that sees Em callback to his roots referencing the 2002 single “Without Me,” dressing back up in the Robin costume he wore in the video and facing off against a de-aged version of himself from the past.

The video featured 50 Cent, Pete Davidson, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Alchemist, interacting with the two Eminem's, as he rapped to a hook from The Steve Miller Band's "Abracadabra."

Following the releases of “Houdini” and “Tobey,” the Rap God has delivered a Hip-Hop concept album that is the final appearance of his alter ego, Slim Shady. Like every Eminem album, The Death Of Slim Shady is an open book into his mind and the story of his life so far. In a scene that has become flooded with acts rapping about the things that they have and the things that they want, Eminem continues to make the artform an artform, as the album shows every side of Eminem's identity and the collateral damage of his fame.

The album cover depicts Slim Shady in a body bag, presumably after the “Tobey” video, where Eminem took a chainsaw to Slim Shady. The album features Big Sean, BabyTron, D12’s Bizarre, JID, Skylar Gray, and Jelly Roll. If this is truly the end of Slim Shady, then the character has had a long famous life that's inspired rappers all over the world.

R.I.P. Slim, we definitely knew you well.
